CS:GO Asia Championship schedule announced
A few months ago, at the conclusion of CS:GO Asia Summit, Perfect World announced a new tournament which would feature several Asian teams pitted against top European and American teams. This tournament was officially named ‘CS:GO Asia Championship’.

Now, Perfect World has announced the schedule and the tournament format. The tournament will run from June 14 to 18 and will be held at the Shanghai Indoor Stadium. The event will feature a total of eight teams, five invited and three qualified, competing for a major share of the $300,000 prize pool.

The tournament will start with a double-elimination, bo3 group stage, with the upper bracket winner automatically progressing to the semi-final. The runners-up and third-place teams will advance to the first round of the play-off.

MVP PK confirmed themselves a slot into the competition by winning the CS:GO Asia Summit. Meanwhile, the other 5 teams that have been invited are Natus Vincere, Ninjas In Pyjamas, EnVyUs, Heroic and Virtus.Pro. The last two slots will be awarded to the top teams from the China Qualifier which is scheduled from May 14 -17.
